Many tournaments are sponsored by the United States Chess Federation (USCF) and require a membership fee. Please click on this link to get USCF membership

Spring 2010 Chess Wizards Chicago-Area Scholastic Tournament!

Date: May 22nd  2010

Time: Check-in is at 9:00am.  Rounds start at 9:30. Awards at 3pm.

Location: Whitney Young Magnet High School

211 South Laflin Street  Chicago  IL 60607-5397. Parking is FREE at the Whitney Young lot between Jackson and Van Buren.

Time Controls: Game 30. Games are not USCF rated

Divisions: Three divisions by grade-   K-1    2-3   and   4-5

Prizes: Trophies will be awarded for the top 10 individuals and the top 5 teams in each division. 3 or more students from the same school in the same division automatically forms a team.

Food will be available onsite.
